As research becomes increasingly data-intensive, the need for structured Research Data Management (RDM) has grown more urgent. RDM enhances the organization, preservation, and sharing of digital data across the research lifecycle, reinforcing research quality, transparency, and collaboration.

在臺灣，網際網路典藏（web archiving）仍屬相對冷門的議題，相關討論與實踐尚未普及。然而，放眼國際，許多指標性的國家圖書館、檔案館與博物館，早已在網際網路典藏領域累積多年經驗與技術發展，並積極推動相關政策與標準，致力於保存數位時代的重要文化與歷史資產。若想了解各國在網際網路典藏的最新發展趨勢、政策方向，或與來自全球的典藏專家共同探討前沿技術與實務挑戰，由國際網際網路保存聯盟（International Internet Preservation Consortium，簡稱IIPC）所主辦的「網際網路典藏會議」（Web Archiving Conference，簡稱 WAC）是不容錯過的盛會。

去年（2024）十二月十二日，depositar（研究資料寄存所）團隊籌辦了一場線上研討會：「什麼是研究資料管理？depositar （研究資料寄存所）能提供哪些協助？」

開放儲存庫國際會議（International Conference on Open Repositories，簡稱 OR 會議）是開放儲存庫（open repositories）領域的年度研討會，今（2024）年於 6 月 3～6 日在瑞典的第二大城哥德堡（Gothenburg）舉行。中研院研究資料寄存所（depositar）團隊過去曾兩次（2015、2023 年）實體參與 OR 會議，不僅在疫情期間多次參加線上會議，今年也躬逢其盛。
